Job Description
The incumbent will work as part of a clinical biomarker technology team involved in immunophenotyping human blood samples.
Will be responsible for analyzing clinical samples by flow cytometry and documenting the results.
Will also be responsible for performing assay development/optimization, instrument calibration/quality assurance and maintenance of the flow cytometer.
Will have the opportunity to improve the skill set with training in molecular biology techniques and cell culture.
Required Skill Sets:
* Background in Immunology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry
* Should be meticulous at documentation and capable of multitasking
* Familiar with MS office suite
* Good analytical skills and data interpretation
* Good communication skills
Desired Profile
Qualification: M.Sc (in biology or related discipline)
Experience:
* 1-6 years experience in industry/academic research (required)
* Experience in flow cytometry assays required
* Experience on FACS Canto flow cytometer desirable
* Experience in cell culture desirable
* Prior experience in handling human clinical samples or frozen PBMC would be a plus
