Job Description

Specific Skills and Knowledge

• Practitioner / Consultant with a proven background in the role of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and tools, with some level of leadership experience
  It

• Responsible for managing a practice / competency of setting long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware for Customers.
• Proven ability of having done implementing processes and tools that enables planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
• Experience in integrating procurement strategies with asset management process to optimize technology spend across the organization.

• Provide IT Asset Management training within organization as needed and serve as a Subject Matter Expert when required on the related tools
• Advanced verbal and written communications skills with the ability to be flexible, collaborate, and work well across diverse teams and different levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize workload and ensure that critical tasks are completed within deadlines
• Working knowledge of contract management related to IT contracts
• Experience with multiple IT Asset Management systems and should have experience with design and implementation
• Preferred experience in having implemented ITAM solution leveraging ServiceNow, SCCM, Flexera
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry best practices regarding Software Asset Management
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to details

• Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.
  
   

Experience & Certification

• 7+ years of IT Asset Management experience within the ITMS - End User Computing Space
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology
• Certified IT Asset Manager, Software Asset Manager,
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (optional)
