Qualification: B.Tech/BCA/B.SC/MCA/M.Tech/MCA

Location: Bangalore

Job Description: •

• 1) PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (major results expected to be achieved)

• Assist in the maintenance of Windows and Linux servers and network services

 • Manage VMware Infrastructure local and remote, SAN & NAS Storages solutions and backup and restores on Windows and Unix platforms

• Provide assistance to the Desktop Support Team and other power users

 • Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of security applications i.e. Patching,anti-virus, firewall etc

• Assist in server installations, LAN/WAN installations and upgrades

• 3) OTHER Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience of Windows server operating systems

 • Must have experience of VMware infrastructure support

 Must have extensive experience of Windows server operating systems

 • Must have experience of VMware infrastructure support

• Must have experience of LAN and WAN network infrastructures and knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS etc

• Provide first line Linux support.

• Develop and support the company source code control system and bug tracking system.

• Manage the company engineering servers and services.

 • Manage third party software development licence deployment.

• QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Advanced Linux administration.

 • Advance knowledge of SVN, CVS and other source control system.

 • Software development (Perl, PHP, javascript etc.)

• Web server administration and design. Windows system administration.
