Job Title:  Sr. Java Developer About PrimeSoft:  PrimeSoft provides software development services that span the entire product development life cycle from requirements, design, development to QA Job Description: PrimeSoft is seeking Sr. Java developers with extensive experience in developing web based enterprise class applications.

Responsibility & Key Result Areas

1. Understand and analyze Software/Functional Requirements Specification
2. Create (detailed) design within specified top level design/architecture
3. Provide technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area
4. Follow (detailed) design document to perform coding
5. Participate in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables
6. Estimates the implementation and deployment of the module based on design architecture, testing strategy and overall project plan
7. Support in planning and risk management activities
8. Identifies key technical risks and develop mitigation and recovery plan
9. Manages technical communication with stakeholders
10. Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts, and propagates it
11. Acts as a role model for other technical members in the group
12. Participates in CMMi process improvement/tailoring
13. Documents the technical design using UML, suitable design patterns in the form of technical design narrative, object models, sequence diagrams, collaboration diagrams
14. Reports progress and issues to the Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates.
15. Supports the module in production, resolves hot issues and implements and deploys enhancements to the application/package
16. Works with/helps other team members to resolve technical issues that require deep technical expertise in core technology platforms or packages

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Extensive knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA
2. Extensive knowledge in building SOAP based and RESTful web services using Java technologies such as JAX-WS, JAX-RS
3. Extensive knowledge in JMS provider implementations such as WebSphere MQ (MQ Series), ActiveMQ, JBoss Messaging or HornetQ, Oracle AQ, RabbitMQ.
4. Proficiency in Ajax, JavaScript, Object Oriented JavaScript, jQuery.
5. Proficiency in RDBMS or NoSQL database – MySQL, Oracle or MongoDB
6. Work experience in developing cloud based applications using Java
7. Excellent Oral and written communication skills
8. Exposure to working with clients, and client driven projects.
9. Should have led a team of 5 members to the minimum
10. Exposure to Agile Development.
11. Ability to mentor the team technically.
12. Strong Investigation , Analytical and Problem Solving skills. 

Mandatory Skills: Expert level knowledge in Java, J2EE or Spring, Hibernate or JPA Expert level knowledge in  SOAP and RESTful web services using Java Technologies such as JAX-WS and JAX-RS Proficiency in RDBMS or NoSQL database – MySQL, Oracle or MongoDB Proficiency in Ajax, JavaScript, Object Oriented JavaScript, jQuery.

Proficiency inJMS provider implementations – AciveMQ or MQSeries or WebSphereMQ or HornetQ or RabbitMQ or Oracle AQ. Excellent Oral and written communication skills Exposure to Agile Development.
